10 (ten) is a natural number, that follows 9 and precedes 11. It is an integer and the cardinal number, i.e. the number used for counting. In addition, it is classified as a real number, which distinguishes it from imaginary numbers. Ten is the basis of the decimal system. This is the total number of digits of both hands per person or two feet.

Ten is the combined number, the proper divisors of which are 1, 2, and 5. Ten is the smallest non-reader, a number that cannot be expressed as the difference between the whole number and the total number collected under it.

Ten is the second discrete sound signal (2.5) and the second part of the discrete two-way family (2.q). Ten has the sum of an aliquot of σ(n) 8 and, therefore, is the first restrained sound signal, which is insufficient. All subsequent restrained beeps are in short supply. An aliquot sequence for 10 includes five members (10,8,7,1,0), and this number is the second component of the 7-aliquot tree.

Ten is the sum of the first three primary numbers, as well as the first four factors. Ten is the eighth number of Perrine, preceded in the sequence with 5, 5, 7.

One polygon with ten sides is decagon and 10-digit number. But it is also a triangular number and a centered triangle.
