Adreian DeAngleo Payne (born February 19, 1991) is an American professional basketball player who plays for ASVEL Basket at LNB Pro A. He played basketball at the College of Michigan State University.

Payne played high school basketball for Jefferson High School. He posted an average of 15.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 4.0 blocks as a senior. As an elder, he led Jefferson to the Division IV state championship and record 19-5. The Dayton Daily News called him the first team across the area.

As a freshman, Payne scored an average of 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, playing in 34 games. During this year, he was diagnosed with a constant decrease in lung capacity, a condition that affects his endurance.

Coming into his last year, Payne was on the preseason Naismith and Wooden Award watchlists. CBS Sports chose him for the third preseason season in America. He was named on the list of the 25 best titles of the Mid-Season Wooden Award. Payne was twice named the player of the big ten of the week. He missed seven games due to an ankle injury. At the end of the regular season, Payne was named the second All-Big Ten team.

On June 26, 2014, Payne was selected with the 15th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft from Atlanta Hawks. On July 25, he signed a rookie contract with Hawks, gaining an average of 12.5 points and 7.0 rebounds in the 2014 NBA Summer League. After directing five preseason games for Hawks, he was ruled out for a start the regular season with plantar fasciitis on his left foot. He subsequently missed the first ten games of the season with an injury, and upon his return, he was sent to Fort Wayne Crazy Ants by the NBA on November 20. He was recalled by the Hawks on November 23, reassigned on November 28, and again recalled on December 6.
