Bosnian flag consists of a blue base with a white seven-pointed star, passing the flag diagonally and vertically, and down from left to right. Above and below the stars the two halves of the star. The right of the yellow stars is an isosceles triangle.
The three points of the triangle represent the theory of three people from Bosnia, representing people who make up the nation. These are the Croats, Bosnians and Serbs. White stars are from Europe, and they are designed to be endless.
Bosnian flag current was adopted on February 4, 1998 the country gained its independence on April 5, 1992, it was formerly one of the six federal units constituting Yugoslavia. Bosnian flag replaces the one that was used from 1992 to 1998.
Initially, the Bosnian flag was to use the blue UN flag color, but it was changed to a darker blue to match the European Union flag.
