Cleveland Cavaliers, often referred to as Cavs, is an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland. Cavaliers compete at the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Central Division of the Eastern League Conference. The team began playing for the expansion team in 1970, along with the Portland Trail Blazers and Buffalo Braves.
