The four seasons namely are spring, summer, autumn and winter. The season is part of the year. In most parts of the world there are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn (British English) or fall (American English), and the winter. In some areas, there is a different number of seasons.
In summer the temperature can rise up to their hot year. If they spike too high, intense heat or drought can cause problems for humans, animals and plants. Rainfall may increase in some areas. Others may receive less water, and forest fires could become more frequent.
In the autumn, or fall temperatures cool again. Plants can begin to grow dormant. Animals can prepare themselves for the upcoming weather, cold food storage or travel in the warmer regions.
Winter often brings cold. Some areas may experience snow or ice, while others see only a cold rain. Pets are finding ways to keep warm and may have changed their appearance to adapt.
