Gym balls come in different sizes to meet your exercise routine. There are small ones, you can easily manipulate. The larger ones are perfect for some flexibility and balance exercises. If you are to lose weight and become fit, then make sure you maximize the use of your gym ball.
Instability of the gym ball and your dependence on the primary stabilizing muscles (ABS and lower back, often called “core” muscles) have seen incredible growth in popularity of the ball for fitness to improve your “core” muscles.
Gym ball has also become popular as an alternative to an office chair – people with problems with their posture is recommended to strengthen the “core” (through engaged) when sitting, as oppose to slouching in a stereotypical office chair. This is a reasonable step to improve the durability and strength of your core muscles, but must also be exploring other options such as progressive weight training.
