1. Use more Conditioner than Shampoo
Moisturise your hair with conditioner every time you bath, because during the cold days breakage of the hair is much more likely than usual. Avoid washing your hair with shampoo every day because the chemical ingredients can cause more damage.
2. Massage the scalp and apply oils in all
A good scalp massage will help to clean dirt and dandruff, and oil in all will control frizz and increase volume.
3. Sleep on a Silk Fabric
Wrap your hair with a satin or silk scarf before you go to bed. Soft fabrics will reduce friction between hair and pillows.
4. Trim the edges once in 6 weeks
During the colder months it is desirable to trim the edges at least once every six weeks. This is a great way to be safe from split ends and keep healthy-looking hair.
5. Protect your Hair from Heat
Avoid using heat on the hair – this includes hot water, presses dryers, curling and even hair dryers. All this removes the hydration of the hair and makes it more vulnerable to damage.
