Ratchet & Clank is a Platform game, Third-person shooter video game for the PlayStation 2, developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This is the first game in the Ratchet & Clank series. Ratchet & Clank was released in North America on November 4, 2002 and received both commercial and critical success. At E3 2014, Insomniac Games has announced the rethinking of the original game on the PlayStation 4, which released in April 2016. The video game designed by Brian Allgeier.

On April 23, 2013 it was announced that Ratchet & Clank film had to be done to come out in 2015, but was postponed until 2016, along with the game. The film will be based on Ratchet and Clank origin covering a similar story of the original Ratchet & Clank video game, but in more detail and with deeper meaning.
