The followers of the Sikh religion, a religion based on the belief in one God and in many ways, for example, are required to wear a starched muslin or cotton turban of cloth about five or six meters in length. (Sikh men never cut his hair, out of respect for it as God’s creation, and wrap it in these turbans.) In some regions, Sikhs wear white turbans, while others are dark blue turbans.
In Punjabi word Turban is known as Dastar or Pagg as a cultural name. Most popular style of Sikh turban are Patiala Shahi Turban, Chand Tora, Amritsar Dhamala, Basic Dhamala, Patka/Keski Dastaar, etc.
