Speech bubble or speech balloon are round shaped white inner and black outline graphic which placed near the head of the character in cartoon, comic books, comics characters in which the characters in words or thoughts are written.

Often there is a formal distinction between the balloon that shows thought and one that suggests words spoken aloud bubble that conjures subjective thoughts are often referred to as a thought balloon.

The most common is a speech bubble. It comes in two forms two circumstances: in-character and off-panel character.
