The Boss Baby is an American comedy film of 2017, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by 20th Century Fox. The film is based on the 2010 Marla Frazee book of the same name, the film was shot by Tom McGrath from a screenplay by Michael McCullers, in which the main character is played by the main character Alec Baldwin and Miles Bakshi, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow and Tobey Maguire. The plot follows a baby who is a secret agent in the war for the love of adults between infants and puppies.

The Boss Baby premiered on March 12, 2017 at the Miami International Film Festival and was released on March 31. After the release of the film, it received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $528 million worldwide against its budget of $125 million. The film received nominations for the best animated film in the nominations Academy Awards, Annie Awards, and Golden Globes (losing all to Coco).

The sequel is scheduled to be release on March 26, 2021, and the television series on the Netflix, The Boss Baby: Back in Business, premiered on April 6, 2018.
