Anime Boy is an AI-based app that creates anime-style characters. He is a personification of the anime culture.

Anime Boy was created by Kyle MacDonald, who’s a programmer and artist. He said that he first came up with the idea for the app after seeing the first episode of the series called “Neon Genesis Evangelion”.

The first episode made him think about how modern anime has become. He realized that modern anime looked very different from the way it used to be in previous decades because of technological advances. So he thought to himself, “I want to make my own character.”
