AOA an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean girl group formed by FNC Entertainment. The group consists of five members: Jimin, Yuna, Hyejeong, Seolhyun and Chanmi. Originally a eight-piece group, Youkyung left the group in October 2016, followed by Choa in June 2017 and Mina in May 2019.

AOA began their career simultaneously promoting as a dance group and band and officially debuted in July 2012 with the release of the single Angel’s Story. In early 2013, AOA Black released their official single, titled “MOYA”, to moderate success. They released their first EP in June 2014 and debuted in Japan under Universal Music Japan the same year.

The group achieved national success in 2014 after a series of hits that made them one of the leading main groups of their era. “Heart Attack”, which debuted at the top of several charts since its release, has become one of the most downloaded songs of 2015 and has become one of the longest single charts in Melon’s top 100 chart.

After continued success, the AOA debuted with its second promotional unit, AOA Cream, in 2016. The group will release their first Korean-language studio album in January 2017, and a few months later will hold their first headlining at the Korean concert “Ace Of Angels” at the Olympic Hall in Seoul. The most popular hits of the groups: “Miniskirt”, “Short Hair”, “Like a Cat”, “Heart Attack”, “Give Me the Love”, “Good Luck”, “Excuse Me” and “Bingle Bangle”.
