Ashley Victoria Benson (born December 18, 1989) is an American actress and model known for her role as Hanna Marine in the teenage drama television series Pretty Little Liars (2010-2017). She starred in the films “Bring It On: In It to Win It” (2007), Christmas Cupid (2010), Spring Breakers (2012), Ratter (2015), Chronically Metropolitan (2016), and Her Smell (2018).

Ashley Benson studied ballet, jazz, tapping, hip-hop at the age of three and began the competitive dance. She started singing with a choir and musical when she was young, and at the age of four, she performed solo in church. At the age of eight, she signed with Ford Model and appeared in many print ads.

Benson appeared on Days of Our Lives Daytime Soap as Abigail Deveraux from 2004 to 2007.

Benson made a little big-screen debut in the comedy 13 Going on 30 in 2004. She starred as Carson in the fourth installment of the Bring It On franchise, Bring It On: In It to Win It (2007). This role required her to both overcome her fear of height to perform her cheer-leading stunts and end her contract with Days of our Lives.

She remembers working on a movie set instead of a soap opera set “definitely weird”, as she spends days in one or two scenes. The Days of Our Lives set filmed two or three episodes per day. To bring it: To win it, she had to attend cheer-leading practice, “It’s difficult for her because she’s afraid of height.”
Nevertheless, she was “glad” to do her own stunts “don’t think it was that hard”.

In 2008, she starred in the original Lifetime Lifetime original film Fab Five: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal, where she played head cheerleader Brooke Tippit. The movie is based on a true story from McKinney North High School in Texas. She made friends with her onscreen mother, Tatum O’Neill on the screen and learned about acting. In addition, she was excited to be a supporter at Bart Got a Room. It was aired primarily at the film festival in 2008 and was released exclusively in 2009. She also played a witch disguised as a cheerleader in a 2008 Supernatural episode of the CW series.

In 2009, Benson starred in ABC’s short-lived supernatural comedy television series Eastwick. The show is based on a 1987 film adaptation of John Updike’s novel, The Witches of Eastwick.
