Disney’s Daisy Duck is best known as Donald Duck‘s girlfriend. She debuted in 1937, as Donna Duck in the animated film ‘Don Donald.’ However, she became known as Daisy in her next show in ‘Mr Duck Steps Out’ in 1940, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck have been a couple ever since. She tries to constantly correct Donald speech defects and bad behavior.

It is believed that she was born in 1920 in Duckburg. Not much is known about her genealogical tree, but we know of two aunts, Matilda and Drusilla. She also has an unnamed sister who is the mother of her three nieces April, May and June. Her brother Billy is the father of Huey, Dewey and Louie.

It is believed that Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck grew up as best friends, as shown in later cartoons. They are still close, often feature together, along with the rest of the Disney character gang, including Mickey, Donald, Goofy and Pluto.
