A gamepad, game controller, joypad, or video game controller is a peripheral device designed to connect to a computer or game console. It has several buttons and can have one or two mini-joysticks. The gamepad is the primary peripheral used on console gaming systems such as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii.
