Global warming, aside from pollution, is one of the greatest problems for the scientists. Global warming is a term used to describe the increase in the temperature of the Earth. It is a process that constantly heats the earth. The temperature on the surface of the Earth increased by about one degree Fahrenheit over the past century, with accelerated warming over the past three decades. There are compelling evidence and proof that most of the warming has occurred over the last fifty years due to human activities. Human activities have changed the chemical composition of the atmosphere, and the environment through the accumulation of greenhouse gasses are the main cause of global warming.

There are four steps in the greenhouse effect that are, ultraviolet rays from the sun through space into the Earth’s atmosphere. Sunlight enters the atmosphere and hits the Earth. Some of the sunlight is converted into thermal energy in the form of infrared light. Heat gets impregnated with closed air and earth, in turn, makes it hot. Infrared rays that are remitted into the atmosphere include greenhouse gasses. The gas absorbs the light and goes back to the surface of the earth, and warms it even more.

Methane and carbon dioxide, some of the naturally occurring greenhouse gasses. This way the Earth remains moderate enough for people to live in it. The only concern with this is that people are improving the process even further, and this will lead to Global Warming.

Over the past many years, greenhouse gasses have been multiplying because of the rapid growth of technology that people have put forward as plants that emit such dangerous gasses, including methane, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxide and ozone, ozone-depleting substances such as CFCs, also known as fluorinated, Chlorofluorocarbons, and Per-fluorocarbons.

In general, global warming rises the temperature of the Earth’s surface because of the chemicals in the atmosphere. The threats that global warming brings with it include: affect the Earth’s climate and even human health. This includes changing altering of crop seasons. Global warming also affects the way in which organisms survive on the planet.

To control and avoid the consequences of global warming, we must first agree with what is happening and take measures to stop or even reduce it. We must stop the burning of trees, and we must stop the air pollution.

There is only one way to end global warming before it becomes a real threat to human life. This is to stop the emission of greenhouse gasses which are the main cause of global warming.
