In Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, the mayor of Augsburg asked the brothers and sisters to save nearby forests and the city from the evil sorceress (played by Janssen), who plans to sacrifice several local children about two days later when the witches gather on the night of the Bloody Moon. To make the hunt even harder, Hansel and Gretel must deal with Sheriff Berringer (played by Stormare), who has taken over the city of Augsburg and began his chaotic witch hunt.
