“Happy New Year!” A simple greeting that will be voiced and heard in the first few weeks before the new year begins. But January 1 is not always celebrated as the New Year’s Day in America.

New Year’s Eve lasted eleven days and each day had its own holiday.

Along with the celebrations, comes the traditional New Year’s resolutions. This tradition also dates back to the Babylonian period. The most popular Babylonian resolution was to return the borrowed agricultural farm equipment. But today, weight loss seems very popular.
