How I Met Your Mother (often abbreviated to HIMYM) is an American series created by Craig Thomas and Carter Bays for CBS. The series follows protagonist Ted Mosby and his group of friends in Manhattan, New York. As a framing device, Ted in 2030 recounts his son and daughter about the events that made him meet their mother.
