Kelle Willem Roos, a Dutch goalkeeper who competes for Scottish Premiership team Aberdeen, was born on May 31, 1992.

VV Toxandria, VV Trekvogels, Juliana ’31, Quick 1888, PSV Eindhoven, Willem II, N.E.C., and Nuenen were just a few of the numerous Dutch clubs that Roos played for throughout his formative years. In November 2013, he signed a deal with Nuneaton Town of the English Conference Premier, and his performances during a string of clean sheets attracted the attention of many English clubs.

In January 2014, he was transferred to Derby County for £30,000, and nine months later, he made his first-team debut for the organization. In July 2015, he was given a loan to play for Rotherham United, but due to his inconsistent play, his loan was terminated after only six weeks. In February 2016, he moved on loan to AFC Wimbledon, where he had a far more productive time, keeping goal as the team gained promotion with a 2-0 victory in the League Two play-off final.

He joined Port Vale and subsequently Plymouth Argyle on emergency loans in the first half of the 2017″18 season after spending the first half of the 2016″17 season on loan at Bristol Rovers. He made his debut for Derby in January 2019. At the conclusion of the 2021″22 season, Roos signed a contract with Aberdeen in Scotland.

Early Life

Roos, who was born and raised in Rijkevoort, excelled at both football and tennis as a youngster. However, he decided to concentrate on football at the age of 13 after settling in as a goalkeeper the year before. Despite having dyslexia, he put forth a lot of effort in school to gain admission to a university.

Personal Life

His girlfriend Nadine Hanssen traveled to Aberdeen with Roos. After giving birth to their son Romeo in December 2021, Nadine made the decision to pick up her own football career with Aberdeen Women.
