King Triton (also known as the Sea King) is the protagonist of the 1989 Disney cartoon film The Little Mermaid. He is the ruler of the Atlantic, an undersea kingdom inhabited by merpeople. Like a king, he wields an omnipotent trident that gives him control of the seas. From his late wife, Queen Athena, 37-year-old Triton is also the father of seven daughters, the most famous of which is Ariel. Triton, an equal advocate of protection and well-intentionedness, at first did not approve of Ariel’s admiration for the human world with his misanthropy.

As noted above, the handsome, feisty and hoarse Triton ruled the underwater kingdom of the Atlantic, although his power was to spread throughout the sea. He is a muscular merman, the husband of the late Queen Athena and the father of Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana, and Ariel. The king’s magical trident seems to be made of gold. It emits bright light and typical sound when used. In addition to the trident, he has a crown and two stripes that also look in gold.
