Megan Denise Fox is an actress and model from the United States. She has been in several big film series, most notably the Transformers movie, and several magazines, including Maxim, Rolling Stone, and FHM. She has won several awards, including two Scream Awards and four Teen Choice Awards.

Fox made her acting debut in the family picture Holiday in the Sun (2001), and went on to have several supporting parts in films and television shows, including the adolescent musical comedy Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) and a leading role in the ABC sitcom Hope & Faith (2004″2006). In the blockbuster action picture Transformers (2007), she played Mikaela Banes, which she repeated in the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009).

She also featured as Jennifer in the horror comedy Jennifer’s Body (2009), as April O’Neil in the superhero action film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and its sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016), and as Reagan Lucas on the Fox sitcom New Girl (2016″2017).

Megan Denise Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to Gloria Darlene (née Cisson) and Franklin Thomas Fox on May 16, 1986. She grew up in the adjacent town of Rockwood. When Fox was three years old, her father, a prison officer, and her mother split. Fox and her sister were reared by her mother and stepfather, Tony Tonachio, when her mother remarried. She was “strictly Pentecostal” as a child, but later went to Catholic school for 12 years. She said the two were “very strict,” and she was not permitted to have a partner or have guests to her home. She stayed with her mother until she was able to support herself financially.

Fox began her dancing and drama instruction at the age of five in Kingston, Tennessee. She took dancing classes at the local community center and was a choir member at Kingston Elementary School and the Kingston Clippers swim team. Fox maintained her training after moving to St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of ten. Fox began modeling at the age of 13 after winning many honors at the American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina in 1999.

Fox started high school at Morningside Academy in Port St. Lucie and transferred to St. Lucie West Centennial High School in her junior year. When she was 17, she took a correspondence course to get out of school to relocate to Los Angeles, California.

Fox talked openly about her school days, revealing that she was tormented in middle school and had to have lunch in the restroom to escape being “pelted with ketchup packets.” She said that the issue was not her appearance, but rather that she “always got along better with males” and that this “rubbed certain people the wrong way.”

Fox also stated that she was never popular in high school and had difficulty fitting in “Everyone despised me, and I was a complete outsider; my pals were usually boys, and I have an aggressive attitude, which girls disliked. My entire life has been spent with only one wonderful girlfriend.”

In the same interview, she expresses her disdain for school and says she hasn’t liked it since she was a child “I’ve never been a great believer in formal education,” she says, adding, “and the education I was getting felt unimportant.” As a result, I was kind of tuned out on that aspect of it.”
