Nina Dobrev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She moved to Canada at the age of two years old and lives in Toronto, Ontario ever since. From an early age she showed great enthusiasm and talent for the arts: dance, gymnastics, theater, music, visual arts, and acting! Modeling jobs led to commercials, which then turned into film auditions. Shortly thereafter, she booked roles in feature films Fugitive Pieces (2007), Away from Her (2006) and the popular TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001) on CTV.

Nina Dobrev is very well known of her popular TV show The Vampire Diaries Since 2009. In 2017 you will see Nina Dobrev in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage movie along with co-actors Vin Diesel and Deepika Padukone.
