Treecko, known in Japan as Kimori, is a Generation III grass-type Pokémon.

At level 16, it develops into Grovyle, which at level 36, transforms into Sceptile.

Treecko is one of three Hoenn starting Pokémon that are initially playable in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire, along with Torchic and Mudkip.

Treecko is a little, bipedal, reptile Pokémon. It is green. It has long, thin pupils in its yellow eyes. Three of the fingers of Treecko’s hands and feet are coated with small spikes. It can easily climb vertical walls thanks to these spikes.

It has a crimson throat and stomach. Additionally, it bears a line that resembles a pouch across its stomach. Treecko detects humidity via its two distinct lobes on its huge, dark green tail. This skill enables it to forecast the weather for the following day.

Treecko is more frequent in captivity than it is in the wild. However, Treecko dwells in densely forested areas while in the wild. It lives in thick trees and will attack any anyone who approaches its nest.

It is reputed to be the forest’s tree defender due to its territorial tendencies. Treecko is renowned for its cool-headed demeanor. Even if it encounters a more formidable attacker, it will never panic.
