Squirrels are known to almost everyone. More than 200 species of squirrel living in the world, except in Australia.

The smallest squirrel named African pygmy squirrel with only five inches (thirteen centimeters) long from nose to tail. Indian giant squirrel is three feet (nearly one meter). There are about 280 different species of squirrel.

Although the gray squirrel is found in parks and forests, they easy to adapt the urban areas, who live in and around the buildings. They have become very accustomed to utilizing ceiling and chimney for nesting.

Tree squirrels are often seen everywhere, from forests to city parks. Despite the fact that they are great climbers, these squirrels do come to the ground in search of food, such as nuts, acorns, berries and flowers. They also eat bark, eggs or baby birds.
