The first Uncharted game called Uncharted Drake’s Fortune was the launch title for the PlayStation 3 and was released on November 16, 2007. The game soon became a hit and at the top of the PlayStation 3 game graphics, until the release of its sequel.

The main reason for Uncharted Drake’s Fortune was so popular because of the action and adventure it gave to players. As people moved Nathan Drake character in the game levels can be broken and start to fall apart when he moved on them creating a sense of panic that have never been experienced before in the last generation of games.

The combination of real-life storyteller combined with carefully researched myths make the first Uncharted game such a hit with the players that are considered especially serious gamers and those who call themselves casual gamers.

The second issue in the series Uncharted is Uncharted 2 Among Thieves, and was released in 2009. The game saw a return character Nathan Drake but in more adventure who took him around the world and not limiting it to the island.
