All You Need to Know About Frogs

Frogs are amphibians, which comes from the Greek and means “both lives”. Most frogs are born in the water as tadpoles and gradually turn into frogs, though some of the frog.


There are more than 4740 species of living frogs worldwide, and more than 90 species of these are in the United States! However, before there was much more. Many frogs are very close to disappearing, and, unfortunately, about 120 species of amphibians, including frogs, who had gone missing since 1980. Luckily, there are a lot of amphibian conservation organizations around the world who are working hard to stop the larger frogs from extinct going.



Frogs can be found on all continents except Antarctica. They can also be found in a wide variety of different weather conditions, as long as there is a reservoir side. However, frogs can not live in the sea or any salt water. Instead, they prefer fresh water, such as lakes, ponds and swamps, because the water is not moving very fast.
