There are many different skills that a player must have to play rugby, they are running, passing, catching and tackling. However, each team must have at least two people who have special skills of kicking the ball.

Rugby ball is oval and so it will bounce in a very different way than a round soccer ball. Therefore, a good kicker should know exactly where to place the ball so that the bounce will go in its favor.

Punt kick

Punt kick is used as a common game. In order to carry out this attack player holds the ball in front of themselves at a distance of feet from his body in order to maximize the swing leg kicks.

Drop kick

Drop kick is a specialized type of impact, which is used to start and finish on goal during normal play. A restart has been made at the twenty-two meters line for a dropout.

Place kick

Place kick is used when a penalty has been awarded, or when the conversion to be attempted after an try was made.
