Dilan Kumar Markanday is a professional footballer from England who was born on August 20, 2001. He currently plays as a winger for Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen while on loan from EFL Championship team Blackburn Rovers.

Markanday is a Tottenham Hotspur youth academy graduate. He renewed his agreement with the team through June 2022 on January 19, 2021. On October 21, 2021, he made his professional debut in a 1-0 road loss to Vitesse in the UEFA Europa Conference League. He done so to become the first player of Indian descent and British Asian descent to play for Tottenham’s men’s first team in a competitive game.

Blackburn Rovers, an EFL Championship team, confirmed on January 18, 2022 that they had signed Markanday to a three-and-a-half-year contract with a one-year extension option. On August 10, 2022, he scored the club’s first goal in a 4-0 EFL Cup victory over Hartlepool United.

Markanday signed a loan agreement with Scottish Premiership team Aberdeen on January 31, 2023, lasting through the end of the current campaign.
