Jumping jacks is a sweet memory of our childhood. This fun exercise for the whole body is mainly used for warming up, instantly uplifting and activating various muscle groups. The rigorous callisthenic movements help improve your endurance, are an excellent exercise for the cardiovascular system, and relieve stress.

There are various reasons why jumping are considered useful. Yes, they are a lot of fun, but here are seven reasons to fully include them in your workout routine.

1. Keep Your Heart Healthy

Jumping jack is an aerobic cardio exercise, which means that you use oxygen to meet your energy needs and stimulate your heart muscle. The heart must work very hard to pump enough oxygenated blood, and also return blood saturated with carbon dioxide from the cells. This, in turn, helps to exercise the heart muscles and other organs such as the lungs. Thus, this steady and slow exercise keeps your heart healthy by providing a good workout.

2. Help in Weight Loss

It is also known that this cardio exercise promotes weight loss. This helps you burn extra calories, thereby creating a negative energy balance in the body. This means that you spent more energy than the number of calories consumed. And this is the main mantra for weight loss.
