The Mazda name appears with the production of the company’s first three-wheeled truck. Other candidates for the model name are Sumera-Go, Tenshi-Go and more.

The company’s website also notes that the name also belongs to the founder of the company Jujiro Matsuda.

The Mazda lettering was used along with the Mitsubishi corporate sales logo to produce the Toyo Kogyo three-wheeled truck registered trademark.
