Diego Brando is a fictional character from the popular manga and anime series called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. He is a major antagonist in the series and appears in the seventh part, Steel Ball Run.

Diego Brando is also known as Dio Brando, which is the name of the main antagonist of the first two parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. But the Diego Brando that appears in Steel Ball Run is a different character from the original Dio, although they share certain similarities.

Diego Brando’s Background

Diego Brando was born in Britain in the 1860s and grew up in poverty. He was born with a Stand (a supernatural ability that is unique to JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) called Scary Monsters, which allows him to transform himself and other creatures into prehistoric dinosaurs and other extinct animals. As a child, he used his Stand to commit petty crimes and eventually became a full-fledged criminal.

Diego Brando later participated in the Steel Ball Run, a horse racing competition across America with a grand prize of $50 million. He joined the race to win the prize money and use it to further his criminal activities. During the race, he becomes a major antagonist and faces off against the protagonist, Johnny Joestar.
