Fuecoco, is a Fire-type Pokémon that was first seen in Generation IX. It changes into Crocalor at level 16, and Crocalor changes into Skeledirge at level 36.

There are three starting Pokémon of Paldea that you can get at the start of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They are Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Fuecoco. Also, on February 27, 2022, a Pokémon Presents video show showed them to the public for the first time as Generation IX Pokémon.

This Pokémon is a crocodile that walks on two legs and has a mostly red body with a white face and stomach. Due to its small size, its body has a small flame sac that constantly leaks fire energy. Some of the energy comes out as two bright yellow flames on top of its head.

If Fuecoco gets excited, more of these flames may come out. It was shown in the cartoon that Fuecoco’s tufts can give off light. Its eyes are black and its lips are shaped like triangles. Its mouth has three teeth: one in the upper jaw and two in the lower jaw. Its arms are short and its feet are big.

Each foot has two black toes. Fuecoco’s chest, back, tail, and the bottoms of its feet all have square yellow scales. It feels warm to touch these scales, but they can get hot. The scales take in heat from the air, like from the warm rocks it lies on, and turn it into fire energy.

Fuecoco is easygoing and takes its time with things. The animal likes to eat and will run to any food it sees.

Fuecoco made his appearance in the Scarlet & Violet arc, when Violet owned her. It’s the first Pokémon he got from Clavell.
