Daniel Jacob Radcliffe (born July 23, 1989) is an English actor best known for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the Harry Potter film series. Radcliffe, born and reared in London, had his acting debut at the age of ten in the BBC One television film David Copperfield (1999), which was followed by his feature film debut in The Tailor of Panama (2001). Still, he claims they were merely attempting to “have a laugh at the kid who plays Harry Potter” rather than behaving out of jealously.
